Mr. Weinstein has led BioClinica as the President and Chief Executive Officer since February 1998 and has also been a Member of the Board of Directors since March 1998. Mr. Weinstein joined Bio-Imaging Technologies, Inc. in June 1997 as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining Bio-Imaging Technologies, Inc., he was the Chief Operating Officer of Internet Tradeline, Inc., an internet-based electronic solutions provider. From July 1991 to August 1996, Mr. Weinstein worked for Medical Economics Company, an international healthcare information company and wholly owned division of The Thomson Corporation. He held several senior management positions at Medical Economics Company, serving finally as President and Chief Operating Officer of the International Group. Mr. Weinstein received his Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Virginia and his MBA from the College of William and Mary.
Mr. Kaminer is responsible for BioClinica's financial, legal and regulatory functions. Mr. Kaminer joined Bio-Imaging Technologies, Inc. in February 2003 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Bio-Imaging Technologies, Inc., Mr. Kaminer served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of ION Networks Inc. Before his association with ION Networks, Mr. Kaminer served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of CMPExpress and he spent twelve years with various investment banking firms providing corporate finance services such as public and private financings, mergers and acquisitions and other financial advisory services primarily to middle-market companies. Mr. Kaminer is a certified public accountant and was previously associated with Price Waterhouse (the predecessor of PricewaterhouseCoopers). Mr. Kaminer received his Bachelors degree in Finance from Cornell University and his MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Pitler leads the Bioimaging Services Division of BioClinica and is responsible for the overall strategy and operations of that division. Mr. Pitler joined Bio-Imaging Technologies, Inc. in March 2000 as Vice President of Operations and was appointed an executive officer of the Company in November 2000. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Pitler spent four years, from April 1996 until February 2000, at Medical Economics Company, an international healthcare information company and wholly-owned division of The Thomson Corporation, as Vice President of Production and formerly as Vice President of Integration. From 1981 to 1996, he held various positions with information processing companies. Mr. Pitler received his Bachelors degree in Economics from Colgate University.
Mr. Benton leads the eClinical Division of BioClinica and is responsible for the overall strategy and operations of that division. Mr. Benton joined the Company in September 2008 as President, Phoenix Data Systems Division and was appointed an executive officer of the Company in March 2009. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Benton was the Chief Operating Officer of etrials Worldwide, Inc. from July 2007 until April 2008. Mr. Benton was also Managing Director of Wharton Venture Partners from April 2004 until July 2008. Mr. Benton held the position of Vice President, Central Planning at Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development LLC from September 2001 until March 2004 and his prior experience includes various management positions at TRW, Inc.'s automotive sector and General Electric. Mr. Benton received his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and his MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Kraus is responsible for overseeing the finance and accounting, human resources and information technology functions of BioClinica. Mrs. Kraus joined Bio-Imaging Technologies, Inc. in January 1997 as Controller. Prior to joining the Company, Mrs. Kraus worked for Coopers & Lybrand (the predecessor of PricewaterhouseCoopers). Mrs. Kraus is a member of the Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania and also serves on the Strategic Planning Committee and is Chair of the Finance Committee. Mrs. Kraus received her Bachelors degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and is a certified public accountant.
Mr. Dorsey is responsible for global marketing operations, corporate communications and product management for BioClinica. Mr. Dorsey joined Phoenix Data Systems, Inc. in 2005. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Dorsey was Director of U.S. Marketing at XRT, Inc. from 2002 to 2004 and was Director, Product Management at United Messaging, Inc. from 1999 to 2001. Mr. Dorsey has also held numerous positions in product development and marketing with Bell Atlantic in his career. Mr. Dorsey's professional affiliations include the Society for Clinical Data Management (2007 and 2008 Chair for the Marketing Committee), and the Association of International Product Marketing and Management. Mr. Dorsey received his Bachelors degree from Wesleyan University.
Mr. Blank is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of BioClinica's European Headquarters in Leiden, the Netherlands. Mr. Blank joined Bio-Imaging Technologies, Inc. in April 2003 as Managing Director of European Office. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Blank was Director, Clinical Trial Management at Covance Central Diagnostics and also held various other positions at Covance Central Diagnostics from 1997 to 2003. Mr. Blank also has had experience in clinical development and project management at global pharmaceutical companies. Mr. Blank received his Bachelors degree from Academie voor Lichamelijke Opvoeding, Tilburg, the Netherlands.
Mr. Endres is responsible for global business development for the Bioimaging Services Division of BioClinica. Mr. Endres began his extensive career at Bio-Imaging in May 1992 as a Clinical Research Associate. Mr. Endres has held many positions including Senior Imaging Consultant, Manager of Clinical Imaging Services, Associate Director of Core Lab Services, Director of Alliance Management and Director of Business Development. Prior to joining the Company, he spent 3 years as a Staff Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont. Mr. Endres spent the previous year working as a Nuclear Medicine Technology Intern at Saint Joseph's Hospital. Mr. Endres earned his Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from the University of Wisconsin and is a certified NMTCB.
Dr. Miller is responsible for medical and scientific consulting at BioClinica. Dr. Miller joined Bio-Imaging Technologies Inc. in 1999 as Vice President of Business Development. Prior to joining the Company, Dr. Miller was Director of Clinical Services at Bona Fide, a company he started in 1994, that was acquired by Bio-Imaging Technologies, Inc. in 1999. Prior to that Dr. Miller served as the head of the Physical Measurements Team, Europe, at Procter & Gamble (P&G) Pharmaceuticals and has numerous years of experience in clinical research. Dr. Miller is a Fellow of the Institute of Clinical Research, an associate member of the Radiological Society of North America and a member of the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research. Dr. Miller has written and co-authored over 40 scientific publications and is co-editor of the books "Clinical Trials in Osteoporosis," and "Clinical Trials in Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis," published by Springer Ltd. Dr. Miller received his Bachelors degree in Physiology and Zoology from the University of Sheffield, UK, and a Ph.D. from the University of Hull, UK. Dr. Miller is also a F.I.C.R. and CSci.
Ms. Flitcraft oversees the project management and imaging core lab departments of the Bioimaging Services Division of BioClinica and is responsible for overall client relations. Ms. Flitcraft joined Bio-Imaging Technologies, Inc. as Director of Project Management when it acquired Quintiles Intelligent Imaging in 2001. She held several positions at Quintiles, including Image Processing Specialist, Senior Manager, and finally Director of Clinical Research and Development. Ms. Flitcraft started her career in 1989 at Memorial Hospital of Salem County as a Radiology Supervisor. Ms. Flitcraft holds a Bachelors degree in Biology and Nuclear Medicine from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA. Ms. Flitcraft also has certifications from The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear), and the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Dr. Noever is responsible for business development and clinical affairs in Europe and Japan for the Bioimaging Services Division of BioClinica. Dr. Noever joined Bio-Imaging Technologies, Inc. in 1998 as Director, Business Development Europe. Prior to joining the Company, Dr. Noever was a consultant on medical imaging in clinical drug development in oncology, bone, CNS and cardiovascular diseases. His previous positions were in clinical R&D at Schwarz Pharma, Boehringer Ingelheim and Siemens Medical Systems. Prior to joining the industry, he worked as a physician at the University hospitals of Bochum (radiology) and Erlangen (cardiology) in Germany.
Dr. Chahin Pachai obtained a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from INSA Lyon in 1995, and a Ph.D. in the field of quantitative MRI, image segmentation and CNS diseases in 2000. He was a research fellow at the Surgical Planning Laboratory, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School (1997-98). After attending business and management courses at Ecole Management de Lyon (2001), Chahin founded Theralys in October 2001, an imaging CRO which was acquired by Bio-Imaging Technologies in February 2007. The office staff consists of 14 employees, including 11 engineers specialized in medical image management and analysis. Chahin is now managing the BioClinica office based in Lyon, France as Vice President and Executive Director.
Dr. Perrone is BioClinica's Medical Director and is responsible for clinical operations, including imaging protocol design for the Bioimaging Services Division of BioClinica. Dr. Perrone joined Bio-Imaging Technologies, Inc. in April 2006. Prior to joining the Company, Dr. Perrone was Director of Clinical Development at SurroMed, Inc. Following the acquisition of SurroMed by PPD, Inc. in 2005, Dr. Perrone held the position of Director, Medical Affairs. Dr. Perrone is the author of numerous publications in medical and scientific journals and has participated in translational research with major pharmaceutical companies, the National Institute of Health and various academic institutions to identify biomarkers across a broad range of therapeutic areas. Dr. Perrone received her Bachelors degree in Finance from the University of Maryland, her Medical degree from Georgetown Medical School, and completed her Radiology Residency at the University of Pittsburgh.
Mr. Reiter is responsible for the applications development, product development and clinical data management functions of the Bioimaging Services Division of BioClinica. Mr. Reiter joined Bio-Imaging Technologies, Inc. in 1992 and in his career with the Company, was also the Managing Director of the European Office, in Leiden, the Netherlands from 1997 to 2003. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Reiter held numerous positions in Centocor, Inc. from 1986 to 1992. Mr. Reiter has also worked in clinical research for a number of companies including McNeil Pharmaceuticals, Lorex Pharmaceuticals and Wallace Laboratories. Mr. Reiter received his Bachelors degree in Biology from Rutgers University.
Mr. Andrus manages regulatory compliance, data management, and training for the eClinical Division of BioClinica. Mr. Andrus joined Phoenix Data Systems, Inc. in 2003 as V.P., QA and Corporate Compliance. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Andrus managed clinical system validations and Part 11 & HIPAA assessments, and conducted computer system audits with Taratec Development Corporation. He also served in a number of different data management and business process management roles at Premier Research. Mr. Andrus is chair of the Drug Information Association (DIA) North American Special Interest Area Communities (SIAC). His professional affiliations include the Drug Information Association, the Society for Clinical Data Management (where he serves on its board of trustees), and the American Society for Quality and the Mid-Atlantic Region Society for Quality Assurance. Mr. Andrus is also an instructor with the Pharmaceutical Training Institute. Mr. Andrus received his Bachelors degree from Temple University and his Masters of Science in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs from Temple University's Graduate School of Pharmacy. He is a certified quality auditor (CQA) and certified clinical data manager (CCDM).
Mr. Boccardo is responsible for business development and sales for the eClinical Division of BioClinica. Mr. Boccardo joined Phoenix Data Systems, Inc. in 2004 as V.P., Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Boccardo held various roles in sales and executive management at Liquent, Inc. Mr. Boccardo's experience also includes work as Vice President of information services for Bio-Pharm Clinical Services (OmniCare). He also served as a clinical programming manager at SmithKline Beecham. Mr. Boccardo received his Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Ursinus College and his Masters in Computer Science from Villanova University.
Mr. Cory is responsible for new product development for the eClinical Division of BioClinica. Mr. Cory was a founder of Phoenix Data Systems, Inc. and served for a time as President. Prior to that he held various positions at SmithKline Beecham, the New England Medical Center Hospital and Synectechs. Mr. Cory received his Bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics his Masters degree in Statistics at the University of Rhode Island.
Mr. Mahler is responsible for the overall operations and client support of the eClinical Division of BioClinica. Mr. Mahler joined Phoenix Data Systems in 1998 and had previous experience in sales and customer relationships at various other companies. Mr. Mahler received his Associates degree in Liberal Arts from Temple University.
Mr. Tourtellotte is responsible for bringing next generation tools and technologies to the eClinical market. Mr. Tourtellotte founded and was the president of Tourtellotte Solutions, Inc. up until its acquisition by BioClinica in 2009. Prior to Tourtellotte, Ed worked in the consulting organizations of Ernst & Young and Andersen Consulting. Mr. Tourtellotte received his Bachelors degree in Economics from Duke University.
