Bio-Imaging's Education, Training & Certification (ET&C) Division was initially developed to oversee the development and coordination of training and certification programs for study sites. Through our experience in clinical trials we have expanded our services to include training courses for physicians and technologists in the clinical practice arena.

Currently, Bio-Imaging offers a CD-based Bone Densitometry training course for physicians and technologists working in DXA. Bone Densitometry Certification and continuing education credits can be earned through this interactive CD in the convenience and comfort of your own home. Bio-Imaging is now offering this unique CD based training to study sites involved in a clinical trial. Each CD is customized to a Sponsor's requirements, and contains information on the site's role in the imaging portion of a study such as processing scans, documenting information, and submitting data. The CD medium allows sites the further flexibility of being able to access information at any time during the study. These self directed programs are cost effective ways of delivering training with the option of requiring a qualifying procedure before a technologist is approved for the study.
